is the message I got from this. Not one person who wasn't with David was not a loser. But I assume they kept the biggest losers in the movie because David thought that was funny.

Was it not or wasn't it not what he was not saying about not being a loser? I think that it's not what he's not saying that isn't the point that he's not trying to not make. It's not really clear. Not exactly.

What about Mark Twain? Cross clearly gave props to his hero,
despite the fact that Twain was not there... and had been dead
for 100 years. Mamma Cass, too. She was on Scooby Doo, man,
you gonna say she was a loser? Pshaw.
