when will they stop making these movies? i love sequels, probubly more than an average movie fanatic, but at some point its always good to stop. maybe its just because im not a kid anymore or something. but please god, someone kill the guy at universal who lets these movies get made

Honestly, I own and love the first one, because it is a great story and is great for children. I have seen the second and third, which were terrible, and I can only imagine the kind of ridiculousness it has gotten to lately, I mean 10 movies and two "singalong" videos... come ON...

As the movie progresses, Littlefoot gets progressively more annoyed with Cera's bad attitude and steps on her. Ducky and Spike then team up to fight Littlefoot, and Petrie allies himself with the sharpteeth, who are preparing an invasion of the Great Valley.
Coming soon: "The Land Before Time 13: Battle Royale", followed by "The Land Before Time 14: The Ice Age".
Then comes the 15th and final LBT movie, where archaeologists discover the frozen body of Littlefoot, and are able to awaken him from frozen sleep. All this and more in "Land Before Time 15: Littlefoot Destroys Manhattan"

They're good childrens movies. That's all there is to it. Children enjoy them.
shareI loved the first one, I will still farely young when the sequels started to come out, and I hated them. I hated how it went from such a cool kids movie to a stupid musical. I hate cartoons that sing! I mean, Disney is one thing, I can't stand most of those, but when they ruin great cartoons like this and The Secret of NIHM with singing sequels, now that just crosses the line!

The singing is good in some Disney movies because the songs aren't so goddamn annoying. Menken for instance wrote songs that were actually entertaining... the LBT sequels have crap songs like "Eggs" and such.
