So basically, according to female even hitwoman philosophy...

... being pregnant gives you, if you are Uma Thurman's character, a free pass and a right to live if you can show proof to a female assassin who holds you at gunpoint whereas if you are not, then you are fair game, right?

Also, what if that hitwoman decided that being pregnant shouldn't really give you a free pass like that, or would that be too low and ruthless even for a hitwoman? But killing someone who isn't pregnant would be a normal thing to do?

What do you think, thanks.

I think that the Bride was honest when she talked about her whole life changing and how she really just was scared for her child at that point. A non-pregnant B. would have just wasted the other assassin (we've seen her skills) but she didn't want to risk it anymore; that shows us how shaken she was by the whole thing, which makes her subsequent actions (abandoning Bill/ the DVAS) make sense.

As to the other assassin, I guess she believed the Bride and cared about the pregnancy. She recognized this change and why the circumstances were different. Had she pursued the combat, I think she might have wounded the Bride, but paid with her life. In other words: if the hitwoman said, "Nah, I don't care about your baby any more than I care about you," the Bride would have cut her down.
