I may be in the minority but I like this movie better than Kill Bill Vol

Don't get me wrong, the first movie is bloody awesome and moves at a much faster pace with great action, great music, and strong performances but I really like how Kill Bill 2 gives you the full backstory on Bill and The Bride. The opening scene to this was great and makes you understand better why the wedding massacre occurred even though Bill is still an *beep* for doing what he did. I also like that we see Uma's training and her interaction with Bill and her daughter in the climax. David Carradine did a fantastic job here, especially his scene with Michael Madsen. A lot of people don't like this movie when compared to the first one but I thought it was a great sequel personally and beats the first one in the story department.

This is a lot better than the first one. I hated the first one and kind of liked this one

I have to say I agree. Kill Bill Vol. 1 is one of my least favorite Tarantino films (of the ones I have seen) but Vol. 2 is one of the best. Near perfect.

I agree, Vol 2 is better. It has Pai Mei training scene, Elle driver fight scene, and Bud scene.

I love both films, but prefer the second, probably because it feels more "personal, for lack of a better term.

I also prefer that both films are separate, as they are paced so differently,

I agree. This one is way better than the first in many respects: story, fight scenes, character formation, etc etc.

I think it means you like westerns more than action. That's the main difference.

Kill Bill 2 is one of the best films of our lifetime.. Yes it's personal, really deep. With awesome sprinkled in and great acting.

Volume 1 is just a ton of fun and ridiculous, but not as good.

You could argue Kill Bill 2 as his best

One is Filet Mignon. One is Lobster. I LOVE steak and I LOVE lobster.

Same here. The tone, the music and some specific scenes put Vol II just a notch above Vol I for me.
The Kiddo vs Ellie trailer fight is my favorite scene in the entire story.
