Does anyone know this about Bud

Was Bud apart of the assassination team? Or just Bill's brother who randomly helped with the killing of Beatrix? And even if he wasn't apart of the team, he did help kill the day of the wedding so why was he so poor? Bill paid the other girls tons of money, wouldn't he pay his own brother something so he's not living in a trailer?

Also why did Bud live in El Paso? When Beatrix was getting married, she was living in El Paso. Why would she live where Bill's brother lived if she was trying to get away from that life and the people in that life? Did Bud move to El Paso after the whole wedding killing thing?

Yes, he was, although his code name escapes me just now. Also, Budd didn't live in El Paso. He lived in Barstow, California.

I suspect Bill kept Bud around so Bud would have a kind of job and a bit of money and self-esteem. Bill was looking out for his brother, but probably didn't send him out on too many jobs, if any. Bud might have been kept on a short string financially because he was an irresponsible screw-up. At least that's my impression, from multiple viewings.
