Did Pai Mei train Elle Driver well although she was disrespectful?

Beatrix couldn't beat Elle on one-on-one combat. Elle had superb fighting skills. Did Pai Mei train her very well? Although she was disrespectful and he took one of her eyes?

He trained all of them well the fight was awesome she was mostly going after the sword the whole fight scene..elle was smart going around the corner before Beatrix came only to get punch in the face and got super kicked..

I assume Elle's training with Pai-Mei was cut short.

Pai Mei trained both of them well but Elle Driver was a way better fighter. Beatrix won because of cheap shots. She poked the remaining eye of Elle. That is unacceptable. Elle could have killed her in the hospital.

Yeah but killing her in the hospital would've been a coward move too.

Pulling Elle's eye out during a fight was totally acceptable. Killing a defenseless coma patient was not.
