Since Jared was an experienced diver he should have been aware that a big danger with changing tanks would be nitrogen narcosis. Not to mention none of them got the bends shooting to the surface after the Tiger or Bull sharks made an appearance. Different movie but at least in 47 Meters Down they made the point about the bends as well as the nitrogen narcosis.
