i just watched a tyra banks episode with jessica and she said the most that she's shown her body is her back and that she's really prude?? but it IS her body right? why did she said that?

I saw that episode too, and she said she ALWAYS uses a body double, so if it is ever a scene not showing her face at the same time as the body part, it is always a body double. In her new film The Eye, it looks like her belly and butt onscreen out of the shower, but she said that is not her, and that she would never even show her belly. As far as Into the Blue, i'd say its not her unless you see her face too.

I don't think she is very concerned about showing her body on screen...

She DOES show a lot of HER BODY in "into the blue"..and in "the sleeping dictonary" were she is totally nude

during the scene towards the end where she fights bate's first mate on board the boat, the two of them fall into the water and bate's first mate reaches up and grabs her boob, exposing a nip slip as well.

thats obviously not her

but why would she be shy of her belly? looked pretty toned to me

If u have a look closely at the scen (ace in the hole) is talking about its not jessica alba. Infact u can tell by her nose its a completely different person.

Uhh, I'm fairly certain that she did most of the skin scenes in this movie. If you look at the front of the DVD you'll see her in a bikini swimming up from the ocean floor. I don't think it was a body double unless they digitally imprinted her face on a doubles body.. Unlikely.

Maybe what Alba meant was that she used a stunt double in her action-type scenes.

Paul and Scott clearly do most of their own stunts. Alba probably meant that she wasn't like the guys and she went and used a stunt double.

Well first off I want to say, that has to-be 99% her in the diving shots. And wow, that's has got to be the hottest on screen non-sex I have ever seen.

To add to a few of the above comments, her body double is used for her family over her own personal views. Don't ask me how she can film "Into the Blue" and show off all the skin and not do other tummy shots...who knows, but the double is getting work in films.

The Eye and the Sleeping Dictionary are 2 that come 2 mind. And her double is smokin hot.

BTW, yes I know this is not a good movie. Yes Paul Walker is a cheeze actor and not Jessica's best work, bad plot line, but damn it's worth it just for her underwater parts in the movie-WOW

That was definitely her body in the movie.

As to why she said that, I don't know, people sometimes just say sh-t they don't mean. Maybe she was asked an implicitly prude-or-slut type of question ("do you feel comfortable showing your body?" or something) and she'd rather come off as the former than the latter.

All she is about her body... I think ? She can't act... where are her and her peers from this era... Gone from the earth probably got rich quick and are sheep... I mean moms. Almost every damn woman has to have kids.
