Better Late Than Never

I remember being so excited when I saw the promo's for this as I really like both Patricia Heaton and Jeff Daniels. However, that being said, I don't think two people were more miscast and have less screen chemistry than these two. As much as I love Heaton , she was way too old to play Paula (Paula supposed to be early 30's and Heaton was 46) and Elliot is supposed to be a bohemian struggling actor, not a preppy in his late 40's. I think Hailey Eisenberg is cute, but Lucy is a smart-ass 10 year old kid, which Eisenberg is not. Quinn Cummings was perfect for the role.
Very, very disappointing.
