Bloods vs Crips?
Watching this movie it appears to encourage gang violence. The blue Gnomes represent the Crips, while the Reds represent the Bloods. Good thing i screened it first before letting my little nephew watch it.

shareare you new to shakespeare?
shareShakespeare never wrote a play on talking gnomes.
shareShakespeare wrote a play called Romeo and Juliet, asshat. What goes on in the film, is what goes on in the play. it's nothing to to do with crips and bloods.
shareI thought I was the only one think the whole Bloods vs Crips lol
shareI think for sure that the reason the chose red and blue hats was because of the bloods and crips - excellent analogy - could also have used Hatfields and McCoys - any known feud would work.
shareI thought that as well but then red vs blue is a common theme all over the place. Halo. Bloods crips. I was guessing they were drawing from Manchester United vs Manchester City also kniwn respectively as the reds and the blues. Lots of English (euro) references(elton john) and accents make me think morenof the soccer feud than bloods and crips (man u vs man city been sround way longer than the crips/bloods even existed)
sharesorry I just have to say I agree and love your comment and the fact you used the word 'asshat' so kudos :)
So you're saying that if a movie has something in it, then it means it is "encouraging" it, even though it clearly shows that the result of the feud is murder and hate, and at the end, they sadly end the feud because they believe they have lost loved ones?
You're saying that despite the fact that the whole point is that the feud is ridiculous because they're just people wearing different colors; despite this, it is "encouraging" it?
The colours symbolize republicans vs democrats
shareI don't think elton john has a clue who the bloods and crips are. lol
shareYou probably didn't understand West Side Story, either,
