I really liked this......

William H Macy is good and so is keke palmer. There's some stuff I wouldn't have minded knowing more about, like the whole story behind the car crash, but overall i liked this a good deal. What are your feelings?

I thought this movie was excellent! Such a heartwarming story...and it's the holidays! Yay!

There were bits and pieces telling of the accident throughout, but the confrontation with his father told the story. He had just gotten home from Vietnam and was on pot. He was high and had his sister in the car and it was his fault the car crash happened and his sister was killed. He held the guilt with him all that time and couldn't even face mother when she was dying. The cap was the cap the sister was wearing when she died. You see that on the newspaper clipping and in the pictures.

I loved it, especially William H Macy and Catherine O'Hara although it was weird to see her playing a whore. I taped it and am glad I did. :D

I'll always remember her for that moment of realization in the home alone movies. I was watching this and for the first few minutes I didn't even recognize her lol.

I'd like to see the original with Jackie Gleason again. It is as old as I am, and I saw a rerun of it when I was about 6 years old. I still remember it, and had kind of wished to see it again sometime, as an adult.
