Also, Gigot relocates to midwest and acts as a manager at father's lumber company, entire movie ages well, classic story, loved Macy and the sign language kerfluffels-- that was cute. Great movie if you need one to add to the queue.
The clipping in his keepsake box said Gigot was a MOH winner but the actual medal in the box was the Silver Star, It's a movie, so let's say he won both, but this is rare- Audie Murphy, Gen Doolittle, etc.
