Why wasn't this movie just not made at all?

They might as well have not made it, because no one noticed it when it was made. See, they could have decided not to make it, and Maxwell Caulfield could have decided not to be in it, then no one would have to not try to remember who he was and what he was in before. John Rhys Davies should have not been in it, and should have not agreed to do it without reading the script.

Well, of course they could've "not made it." Why do they make any movies, really? I suppose that most of the people who watched it in the first place were either LotR junkies who would see ANY movie with John Rhys-Davies in it, just because he was was in LotR, or big sci-fi followers who thought it looked good. (and yes, I'll admit, I belong to both of those categories.) So why bother? I dunno. Why not bother, really?
