doubts...

I saw this movie recently and I have to admit that I'm a little bit confused.
It's the first time I watch a Wenders movie and I think I made a bad choice cuz I really didn't like this one, but maybe it's because i haven't understand some stuff.
[SPOILER]
Howard was a lonely man and stuff, but what was that of "I was searching a trace of you in the mirror" and "I still can't recognize myself on you" that the blond girl say to him? What did it mean?

And what the heck was that Tim Roths character? Does he mean anything?
[SPOILER]

I really couldn't see anything on that, maybe the movie is just empty like the main character or I just didn't understand it. I would like to listen to some explanation, maybe I can clear it and try to watch any Wenders movie again.

the blond was his daughter what all that means is he was looking for some good in him (i guess) and her reply was that she was looking for the bad in herself or jus the trace of family in their face.

tim roths charecter was hird to find sam shepard's character cause he jus took off in the middle of filming a movie.

its all really easy to understand if you sit and watch it and pay attention and not try to read into things like my best friend does
