This is why you don't let actors write movies
What a piece of boring, vane self-masturbation. Earth to Sam Sheppard, movies are supposed to entertain us. Yours didn't. It was dreadful, every friggin' scene.
shareSam Shepard is first and foremost a playwright, then an actor. It's a shame you didn't like it. I have yet to see it, but expect great things. Shepard's "True West" is one of my favorite plays of all time.

The failure of this movie is that it tried to mix stage melodrama with indie naturalism - that's just not going to work. share
