This movie is a knock-off of the well-known social studies classic, "The Disappearance" by Philip Wylie.

"The female of the species vanished on the afternoon of the second Tuesday of February at four minutes and fifty-two seconds past four o'clock, Eastern Standard Time"

I suggest you read the book! It is interesting that the women of the Fifties have morphed into the Mexicans of today.
