Chickless at the end

At the very end before escaping the Cube, they run across a dead guy named Chickless.

Someone mentioned Chickless was unknown, but I just noticed that at the very beginning of the movie it shows the names on the desks... Chickless is shown right after Wynn and before Owen. When asked, he is "getting sun tanned [vacation]" and "returning something this week". This was all that was ever mentioned of him before Owen became the center of discussion.

That's another dead former employee in the Cube -- makes Kazan look more and more like just another employee that got their memory erased before going in. (in my opinion)

Routine cleanup at the Cube facility!

And Dodd asks Wynn about the two kids in a picture on Chickless' desk. Wynn says their names, then Dodd says, to the effect, "No. They are orphans." Of course, alluding to the fact that he knows Chickless is dead.

I don't think this was supposed to be an easter egg of sorts... Chickless has a very unique name that you'd remember

They talk about Chickless and Owen a few times in the movie. That's part of the allusion to how IZON "cleans its own house."

Since a soldier was also in there, why not make all of the Cube victims employees of IZON, and the real memory wipe is why they're employed with IZON, not why they're in the cube.
