How did Rains find her child?

Maybe I missed something, but Rains is, in the beginning of the movie, seperated from her child and even though she seems really bothered with this at first, after like 30 minutes in the story she seems to not care about her child at all anymore.

Then, at the end, she escapes. We hear nothing from her again but then see a flashback(?) where she all of a sudden out of nowhere has found her child, and is hiding in the same scenery in which she was escaping from the bad guys at the end.

Where the hell did her child come from?

On a sidenote, Cube zero sucked. Even Hypercube was better then this....

I think it was intended to be winn's dream/thought right before they finished the procedure. She may not have gotten away and probably was captured in reality, but Winn's last happy thought was of Rain escaping, finding her daughter, and looking back at him as a hero.

While I wasn't all that wild about the movie, I'd have to say it was much better than hypercube. Really if they had left hypercube out this would have been a decent compliment to the first cube. It's kind of like the highlander movies, everyone should just ignore that the second one happened.

Rains may have not even had a child. If a false memory could be implanted in Wynn, then a false memory of a daughter could have been implanted in Rains.
