Parthenonnnnn nooooooo!

I'm so upset he's gone. Sure he messed up this episode, but he's been the most reliable of all the heroes.

Parthenon really surprised me the last few weeks... He was probably the most well rounded of them all but he was just a little too overbearing.

I thought sure it was going to be Hygena.

'Cuz there's thunder in your heart... Every move is like lightning!

reply

I've actually thought it would be Hygena for like the past three weeks. lol

its so inapropriate of me to say, but i am going to....

doesnt he like snakes?

reply

I really agree. He was on the chopping block twice during the whole series, Hygena was on it every week lately!!! Come on. Homophobic producers maybe?
He wasn't even much of a flamer. He was definitely a moderate gay dude. I respected him, he did well in every mission except this week.
Stan must want a woman in the final couple, if he was going at it that way it should have been Basura or maybe Whipsnap. Basura was hot but not too heroic, but Whipsnap was really whiny but she was doing really well in the progress department when he let her go.

reply

They probably realized that they eliminated too many women early and kept Hygena over Parthenon so it wouldn't be an all male final 3. I agree that although she had self-confidence issues, they should have kept Whip Snap over Hygena because she really had her heart set in the game.

Remember, for last year's final two positions, Fat Momma beat Major Victory who was way more entertaining and athletic Fat Momma ended up being a dud because she couldn't do any of the stunts for the final challenge, giving Feedback an easy win.

OMG do you fag lovers ever shut up? It's just like with black people, if someone fires a black girl people shout "RACIST!" when someone fires a gay people scream "HOMOPHOBE!"

reply

i'd scream FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGG! rotfl..

"I have something to say.. it's better to burn out than to fade away!"

gimme a break, a flamer superhero? his real superpower was that he could suck golf balls through a garden hose!

reply

Come on that was so stupid.
He made ONE mistake!
The entire show, just one mistake.

Hygena and Defuser made hundreds of mistakes! I was just pissed.
Hyperstrike better win.

At least Stan lee didn't call him "fag". Maybe if jerry Lewis was the host that could have happened. ;)
I agree that he was the most steady and I thought he would make it to the last episode, but they really have to watch themselves the last couple of weeks. You pick your nose or scratch your butt when the camera is around, you could be gone. Any one of them could have been eliminated from that episode, it's just that Stan thought Parthenon screwed up the most. He didn't do his job. He was leading the kids too much and not letting them do their part, which was the whole purpose of the challenge. Plus I think he sealed his fate when he said he wanted it more than the others. I don't think Stan likes cocky(no pun intended) heroes. Hyperstrike did a better job of expressing himself in the second to last hour when he said "You shouldn't pick me unless..."
There are a number of gay characters in the Marvel Universe. I don't think his homosexuality had anything to do with Parthenon going bye bye. If they didn't like that part of his life, they wouldn't have even had him on the show.
