shareITV is so stupid at times to can this drama. The viewing figures are good for this programme so why can it?

Did Rosemary and Thyme drop figures this year? I thought it was quite steady and similar to last year.

Isn't ITV one of the leading terrestrial channels in the UK? Also, don't good ratings like this drama earn profit (Since it's a commercial broadcaster)? As for FW, I doubt they can afford the next season. For this series, many people chose Hotel Babylon over FW. Moreover, FW got defeated in the ratings quite significantly.
shareitv has been loosing viewers for a long time.
and ch4 in the uk has been gaining fans. so far it's the only channel that hasnt lost out on viewers since the explosion of cable telly.
and ch4 has the viewers that advertisers tend too aim for '18 - 35' demograph.
as well has import's, ch4 has been making a lot of home grown programes thats have been attracting the viewers.'wife swap, big brother, how clean is your house etc.
itv so far has only had it's 3 soaps too attract veiwers and advertisers with 'corry, the bill & emmerdale'.
up too 5 years ago, a hit show would have got about 14 million viewers. now a hit show would be one that got 8 million viewers. and corry reguarly pulls in about 10 million.
Oh, please!! In Australia we have "How Clean is Your House" and that is the saddest show I have ever seen. If you congradulate ITV for creating this show, you need a little bit of a shake

i didnt congradulate anyone for this type of cheep veiwing rubbish. besides, for once, it wasn't itv, but ch4 that show's it.
i just pointed out that ch4 seem's too be making the type of show's, even if we agree with them or not, that pull's in the viewer's.
maby they can move to another channel?? eg BBC or London Weekend Television :)
like The goodies did moved from BBC to LWT so why can;t rosemary & Thyme do that :) even in Australia Neighbours changed channels they got axed by channel 7 early in and got picked up by channel 10 and still running strong

I know it was years ago that the series was pulled, but I read they had had plans to film two eps in Portugal and then some of the major behind-the-scenes people had to be replaced and they just decided to pull it instead.
I am hoping that someday the R&T can actually do those two eps, as I would love to see the gardens that had been chosen. Perhaps they could do the planning and watch younger women they have trained do the actual "gardening."
If anyone's interested it's on Netflix.
