Um....is anyone on this show NOT extremely condescending?

You would think that the producers would try to balance it out. Why do they all seem extremely condescending? "Hey I'm cool, I have a glow-worm that the studio gave me." "Hey look, I'm down with Led Zepplin" I don't get it, the same people mocking the culture are the same people that supported that garbage in the first place.

That's happening all the time now. It's funny, you see these shows that are like 'top forty worst music videos' or songs or whatever, and it just sounds like they're making up bad stuff to say about it, because when it came out everyone thought it was great. And if you think that's bad, you should see Best Week Ever. Holy crap.

I only briefly caught part of one of the new 70s episodes... where I believe they were talking about Hollywood Squares, the quote goes something like this:

C-lister celebrity: "Oh yeah, Hollywood Squares, what a great idea to get all the unemployed c-list celebrities together in one place".

Or some such nonsense (it might have been in reference to a particular actor, but the basic meaning stands), the same thing THEY are doing. Most of the people who show up on these shows are c-listers, no-names, or has-been celebrities.

"You've shown your quality sir. The very highest."
