in order to make a television show, first you have to film the show, which takes a few months.. then editing(longer then filming).... then sound workshops(same time as filming).. then have that draft of the show be seen and given the approvial. if its nto approved, you have to edit and sound work it again, and again, and again. the whole process takes quite a while..

Actually they delayed it a year out of respect for vadim and jaclyn and the cast and crew were still in shock. they needed time to figure out what to do. they would have been delayed in airing the show by a few months for editing and stuff but it mostly was to get over the shock.
