What about the POWs/MIAs in Laos and Vietnam

Okay, so much for the hoo-haa....and the great job these guys did in rescuing that poor girl. Yes they did well. But couldn't the same effort have been put into saving the hundreds of MIAs/POWs who were reportedly held hostage in Laos and Vietnam years after the Vietnam War? Men like Shelton, Cressman, Matejov, etc....didn't they deserve to come home too? Its probably too late now, but something should have been done to bring them home.

There is alot written about the MIA/POWs in Laos and Vietnam that maybe you shuld check out. Some are quite compelling. Also, do try and get your hands on "We Can Keep You Forever", a documentary, not made by Americans, but by the British, exploring what appears to be one of the darkest issues of America's war in Vietnam. You may be right about the Pentagon's involvement in the Jessica Lynch return (notice I use "return" and not "rescue" because I think here you are right), and you would be interested to know that many sources on the Laos/Vietnam MIA/POW issue argue that the Pentagon supressed information on their missing men, primarily in Laos because at that time, it was a secret war. And I do agree largely on this Iraq fiasco.....the whole war there is totally uncalled for, waste of life and resources. Incidentally, I'm Singaporean, not American.
