Sam in the questioning room.... (spoilers)

Ok, I thought that Marty pushed George into the water, not Sam's older brother, but yet... on the video, Sam says his brother was the most out-of-control he's ever seen him.

Anyone find this odd? It was Marty who was out of control, the most.

So, we know Marty takes off and does what he does in the store, but would Sam's "confession" on video show that Sam's brother made George drown? Not cool, because Sam's brother is the ONLY one who jumped in and tried to find George.

Also, I'm guessing George hit his head on a rock....

Rocky's the glue who always has the answers, but he couldn't control it this time.

Hi.

It was Rocky who pushed George, but it was in the heat of the moment. George was taunting Marty, Marty had snapped, and Rocky was in the middle of them trying to diffuse the situation and separate them. He tried physically moving Marty back, but he was fighting Rocky to get to George, meanwhile George kept on taunting and taunting Marty so in the heat of the moment Rocky turned around, shoved George and told him to shut up. That's how George fell in.

When Sam says he's never seem Rocky more "out of control" in his life, I don't think he's referring to his brother's temperament or anger, but instead alluding to how Rocky's shove was not pre-meditated or malicious. It was not a calculated, "controlled" action, but a reflex done in the heat of the moment trying to separate two fighting teenagers. He could not have anticipated what followed the shove.

I always thought they were talking about George being out of control.

This is what confused me, I had no idea whether they were talking about George, or Rocky..

The fact he was out of control works in his favour as it shows that it wasnt premeditated and that Rocky was just trying to prevent a fight and accidentally hit george he lost balance and fell in the water. He was telling the truth. Its fascinating how people perceive the exact same events differently.

And I'm guessing George hit his head on a rock....

Why guess when that was shown? An underwater thud sound, followed by blood streaming from his head and clouding the water.
