Looking for movies, where 20-30 year old man meets a lonely elderly lady, and she gives him a mother's love.

Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont (2005) came to mind while I was watching Ladies in Lavender.

Both are well acted and have lovely stories.

Not necessarily similar plot but it does have a younger man meeting an older woman :)

You should check the storyline of Miss Mardle and her affair with Florian, in the Mr Selfridge series.
