not good
I tried to watch this film at midnight during the Seattle Intl. Film Fest., last night, and survived about 45-minutes of it. What I saw was slow, boring, repetitive and not as violent as I would've thought. Granted, the very first scene, with swords (or, were they spears) being driven thru this guy over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over had the shock effect it needed.
But then, the guy comes back to get revenge on "all that exists". Which means, he will be approached by someone, man or woman, and then run up to them with this annoying scream and cut them down with his sword -- cut to close-up on victim philosophizing the nature of death and the meaning of
life -- cut to song break. Repeat.
I can't imagine the movie got *any* better from there. All I knew was I had another 85-minutes of it left to go. No thank u!
