Make it stop. Make the bad man stop.

Of the three movies that have been released by Halestorm Entertainment, only "The Singles Ward" was the funniest, and it was mostly because of Will Swenson. The acting in this movie is campy at best, and the pacing is very inconsistent. It only has a few funny moments.

They need to stop making these movies. The only group who would find this funny are Latter Day Saints, and even then it is quite embarassing to watch. I couldn't sit through the whole film.

That's the point bud, the films were made for the Latter Day Saints. Which is a very smart thing. There are aproxamatly 10 million of them, and they love LDS movies. Hmmm, lets see, if we can make an LDS film for a little money, for a market with 10 million people in it, I wonder if we'll make any money? Answer, YES!! These guys are smart, and talented. If you had any idea, or any knowlege about film or filmmaking at all, you'd understand this.
No, I'm not one of the filmmakers, but I am a filmmaker. But hey, you put your kid in a tree and let us throw some rocks at it, sound good?

I have to disagree with you here. Just because the film makers knew how to make a buck doesn't mean that they knew how to make a quality film. So smart? Definately. Talented? Well, talented capitalists. Many of the actors in Hollywood and the singers on the radio are not particularly talented, no matter how much money they make. Many unsuccessful artists are talented.

Well said, devin647. I've been saying that for years. ("Just because the film makers....")

This film was made for the approximately 350,000 or so living "behind the zion curtain" aka Utah County. Most Latter Day Saints in Salt Lake, Ogden, Logan, St. George, Las Vegas, and parts of California are cringing and nauseous along with the rest of the world.

maybe you just have to be LDS to find these movies funny. well you would have to also be willing to lauph at your self and those around you as well. I am both of thoses. The LDS films of this type are there for the good cheep lauph thats the point, thats the point. thats what they are going for. Not for morals not for good vs. evil. just to have a good time. and i hope they make more of these. i would much rather see the RM then sit through ace venture 2 again. just sit back and enjoy the the movie. if you don't like it cool move on. just look at the film for what it is not what you want it to be.
