Urgent Help!!!

I have the chance to see this movie on Wednesday at my local cinema and am not sure if I should go. The problem being is that my knowledge of Haiti as a country politically is very basic and I am not sure whether this movie - which by all accounts seems like a good piece of film-making - would be lost on me?

Can anyone offer advice, I want to do the film justice by giving it my full understanding attention!
