From what source has this come after all these years?

I recorded the film from BBC2 (Freeview Digital TV) on 29 December 2005 onto my computer. And it's still there.

Have you seen it? It's extremely violent in places. You're too young. This isn't Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs you know! If this whole film had been live action and not just the prologue and epilogue it would've been banned by the BBFC. As it stands, it's got to be an 18. That's probably why it was on TV late at night for its one UK-wide broadcast screening in 2005.

I highly doubt that it would have been banned by BBFC had it been live-action.

I'm eagerly awaiting a large-scale, live-action epic of one of the tales. Probably closer now than it's ever been.
