Just a few questions…

I think the hair brush is a symbol for something, and someone told me this movie had an important symbol. And the hairbrush is the only thing I see muliple times and is mentioned multiple times… oh and the glasses!
Anyway, was anyone else depressed because they didn't get the satisfaction of a happy ending that they wanted? I wanted them to at least stay friends or maybe he would date her later. It was extremely depressing but altogether a good movie.
