Could have been a good film.

It might make a good drinking game film though, if everytime Fred Savage says "pussy" have a drink. I did not have any beer so I gave it a 1(awful).

Just Chillin

Definatley had potential, the acting was good, the theme was kinda good. But yeah, it got kinda lost. Glad I am not the only one who thought it felt 3 hours long.

I suppose the main issue was that it was just a very confused film. What was it trying to be? A teen sex comedy? A relationship drama? A comedy-turned-serious romance movie? An addict film? Seemingly, all of the above. To make matters worse it would have probably been marketed very very badly, capitalising on all the raunchiness and trying to adverise it as something that it wasnt. In that regaurd I get the feeling that alot of the "teen sex movie" elements were artificially inseminated into the script, or pushed by the producers, to broaden its appeal.

The end resault I conclude is a movie with all the right elements that lacks quality execution and ultimatley fails for lacking real direction and trying to be too many things at once. Forrest gump was alot of things at once, thats a movie you can just about watch in any mood still find something to resonate with and enjoy. But this? the overall resault is just a gigantic clash of noises that drown eachother out, leaving you with nothing to really resonate with, no matter what the mood.

Better luck next time I guess. All I can say is that I am glad I didnt pay anything to watch this.
