Wasn't the dual screen annoying?

There might be some scenes in which it had a good effect, but I didn't see the necessity of it. Thus, quite distracting. It looked like a film student's beginner experiment or something most of the time.

It wasn't that annoying after a while since getting all the sides of the characters and how a person's actions affected the other characters (e.g. Josue's reaction to Jessica and Fabian dancing) was a key point of the movie. It makes the movie unique and artistic.

Hmmm... I already said "there might be some scenes in which it had a good effect."

Isn't it rather lame if the director couldn't find a way to show "all the sides of the characters" other than that way throughout the movie? Besides, if it was at least artistic, I wouldn't have found it so annoying anyway, but it wasn't at all.

It´s funny how so many people praise this movie here in Bolivia, when the rest of the world is obviously laughing at it. Gone are the days of classic, powerful film-making from this country, let me tell you (Looking back several decades will reveal the good stuff). Yes, this movie totally abuses split-screen, and the cinematography in general is terrible. The script isn´t so bad; with a more professional crew and a greater sense of vision, this movie could´ve at least been decent, but oh well. Enough bitching from me, i have other things to do now...

Well, at least the girls are really hot. And the movie is still a whole lot better than finnish movies ever have been (I'm from Finland and this movie's been released as a DVD here for some reason).

BTW: I didn't find the split screen really that annoying, i think the lack of a plot is much more annoying really.
