Very underappreciated

This show is really good, though not too many people seem to realize it. I'm a huge Looney Tunes fan and know when they mess up characters, such as Space Jam. I feared that they wouldn't get the character right, or would not be able to make a 7-minute cartoon character into something that could last an episode. I'm really happy with the writing, and feel like that is really Daffy Duck as Duck Dodgers. Thats what impresses me the most, and I guess a lot of people don't look for that. It may be worth noting that my favorite films of 2003 were "Kill Bill Vol. 1" and "Looney Tunes Back in Action" - if you havent seen that and love Looney Tunes, they finally got them right in a movie, along with a ton of inside jokes for lovers of movies (especially 60's scifi movies). And oh yeah, back to Duck Dodgers, the Tom Jones theme song is awesome as well, really gives it a classy opening.

I agree! This show is one of the few LT spinoffs that's done really well! I love the writing (there's only been 1 or 2 episodes I thought were mediocre). Cartoon Network doesn't give this show the attention it truly deserves! They'd rather put on a 2 hour block of Baby LTs than give DD a proper timeslot! So far they've postponed 2 seperate season premieres for months after they were originally due to air, crammed half a season into a one day block, moved the show to that horrible 12:30 AM time slot, and now they've taken the show off their schedule totally and moved it onto Boomerang, which is not a highly advertised or accessible channel to begin with. It's a disgrace!
Thankfully, CN has posted a "Stay Tuned for Updates" sign on its Dodgers website, so hopefully, they'll be bringing it back, probably around the holidays or Spring 2006. I'm just hoping they'll greenlight an additional 13 episodes for a 4th season!

Cancelling this, Megas, and Samurai Jack were the worst mistakes CN ever made. I guess those shows were just too critically acclaimed for them

This show is very weak compared to the original looney tunes, sorry but it's the truth.

I agree. These characters weren't created for 30 minutes. These classic characters quirks and attitudes were designed to fill a 7 minute plot. The show was cancelled and rightfully so. It was unoriginal LT recreation like we've seen before. It's better for Cartoon Network to make it's name off of original cartoons rather than riding on hypes and favorites. I do wish that they would play LT shorts again. They play Tom and Jerry, but face it, you've seen one Tom and Jerry and you've seen them all.
