They really should. But I wouldn't put it past them to never put it on DVD. Or if they do, not for a long time. It took them forever to release Batman TAS on DVD and they've yet to put on Tiny Toons or Animaniacs. Those were all extremely popular shows. Just to be safe, I'm taping these episodes while they're still on TV, just in case. If Dodegrs finally does come out on DVD, I'm definitely going to be one of the first in line to buy them! Hopefully they'll be uncut with some extra behind the scenes footage.

Hey, maybe they'll include the unaired pilot! Some of the scenes looked really cool when I saw them on the first commercials in 2003! Dodgers had a different costume (closer to the 1950's one he had before). Scenes that were shown where a concerned-looking Marvin was speaking to a committee of aliens via a holograph ala Star Wars. Also, Dodgers lighting a match and seeing a room filled with alien moster eggs ready to hatch before he whispers "Mother!" The animation in that last one looked really great, almost more like a preview for "Duck Dodgers the Movie" (if they were ever to do one). And if you look closly in the beginning credits where Tom Jones sings, you'll be able to see some of the other scenes in the little segregated floating boxes!

Yeah, that'd be great. when I was at the Canadian National Expo this year, I saw a bootleg dvdof the first two seasons at the shady bootleg dvd stand at around $40 or $50 Canadian. Wish I'd bought it.

Here we are, ten months later. Anybody got any news about a DVD release? I would love to have some of the shows on DVD, especially as I've mostly watched them dubbed into Danish. The dubbing people did a pretty good job, but I prefer the original voices. Especially because some of the jokes and nuances are lost in translation.

I remember one show was aired in English, maybe it was on a different channel, I can't remember. But it was the one with a cartoon Peter Lorre in it. Maybe they just gave up on getting a Danish actor to do an impersonation of him. Good thing too!

tvshowsondvd.com will tell you, but we still have to wait for the studios.

it's been 5 years since it first premiered. i've been watching it on boomerang. i wonder if it's experiencing any kind of resurgence.
