the fact that you saw this movie in a jewish film festival is pretty disgusting. i hardly consider people jewish once they reach the point where theyre willing to disgrace themselves like that. the problem is, there are hardly any jews out there who really identify with their religion - theyre just jewish because they eat bagels and lox and their grandparents are from brookelyn. if jews arent really offended by this movie, then in my opinion, theyre not close enough to their religion. jews are too quick to laugh at themselves. you may say that this movie is a comedy and that i should lighten up, but i find the movie no more than offensive.

Lighten up, for god's sake. And if you have a problem with it (and you're clearly in a minority, since it's been chosen in Jewish festivals around the world) then keep it to yourself.
Your comments that a Jew who would find this funny is clearly not Jewish enough makes you sound like a complete moron and quite clearly a fundamentalist. You're probably the type of person who would find "The Producers" offensive as well.
