I was in Israel last year and saw in the T.V guide that this film was going on, just after I left!!! I really want to see it, I looked on the internet about it, trailer and all and it looks very good. I am looking on the internet for this on DVD and found it on Amazon. I want to see it but is it good...

Very funny. I saw this movie at the Philadelphia Film Festival way back in April of last year, and it’s an unexpected surprise to see it getting a regular US theatrical run here now. The festival’s program guide compared it to Meet the Fockers, and its star, Guillermo Toledo, to Ben Stiller, which is pretty fair, except that the original Meet the Parents is probably the better comparison. It may be slightly less over-the-top than either film, but it's quite farcical.
shareI usually don't like screwball comedies, but somehow this one worked for me and I couldn't stop laughing. It was also quite poignant at times but never for long. Every time you thought you might cry they threw another absurdity at you. The dance scene, alone, was worth the price of admission.
