HYSTERICAL AND UNDER-APPRECIATED

I gave it a "10". Excellent and totally funny - even the so-called 'sad' parts were still hilarious (if that makes sense.) When I wiped the tears from my eyes (from hysterical laughter) it totally called to mind the fabulously funny Pedro Almodóvar film "Women on the Verge of A Nervous Breakdown" although, upon reflection "Only Human" is funnier. Who says that movies with terrorist subplots can't be funny?! Lucky for me, I bought this DVD and can play it again and again and I'm sure over time it'll get truly funnier. Love Spanish directors and their movies! ! ! ! ! ! ! I never miss one when the opportunity presents itself.

Confession: This was my 2nd viewing. My first viewing was a failed attempt as I was only half-watching because of being distracted and if asked would then have only given it a 2 or 3. . . . Various elements all must come together to get the best out of any movie and they all came together for me when I re-viewed it last night - distraction-free. So, for those who hated it - give yourself a gift and re-view it with an open mind and you may just laugh yourself into a near-coma.
