I was looking forward to this movie since it was in production. I love the HST books I've read, and absolutely LOVED Fear and Loathing. And I knew this was going to be different. But damn, was anyone else really bored with it? After 15 minutes I wanted to turn it off. But I tried to be entertained. But we can't try forever. Really disappointed with this one
shareI understand what you mean. I, too, felt like turning it off after about 15 minutes but I got drawn in. If you stick with it it becomes very absorbing and much better. The pace is good. My only quibble is I then got a bit bored towards the last half hour. I still stuck with it and it definitely is a good film from a great director.
