I kid you not - if you want a beautiful answer to that question listen to this guy's story:

really - it's great

UPDATE: the old link stopped working. I replaced it with a kinetic typography which is excellent, but loses some of the context - the main point is still there though. Here's the whole context if you're interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuGYh6QDNYY

I'm an atheist, but I loved that.

Thank you.

I'm super glad you listened.

Not all of us are like Matt Chandler's friend. Fewer get in the same kind of situation as Chenault. Yet, all of us have a past. We mishandle others and we get mishandled. It's why the Gospel is so beautiful.

I really did not appreciate being directed to a YouTube video of some preacher despite his message. I don't need some religious rant to understand--I can arrive at my own answers without this.

In the DVD extra, it tells us that Hunter Thompson went to NY and married the "Chenault" character.

He did not judge her, he wanted to love and care for her.

Jesus that text was Painful to watch!!!! wtf

the message was nice but the guy yelling at the end kind of scared me.... O_o
The message was great but his anger kind of made me feel fear

Yeah, Jesus might still love her, but that's a theological point, and a somewhat different sort of love.

It's got *beep* all to do with me or any other man marrying her, which would clearly be a BAD idea.

So we can't look at people's pasts and expect them to continue to be the same people they always were? That's 'judgemental'?

You don't line in the real world.
