Cars ?

I think the first open top sports car is an Aston Martin and the second red one is an Alpha Romeo , but i could be completely wrong as 50's Puerto Rico would probably have American cars . Any help ?

The car Paul is driving is a corvette, gorgeous vehicle, for me one of the best scenes in the movie when Paul and Chenault are seeing how fast this vehicle will go. Not sure about the one Sanderson is driving.

The red convertible Sanderson is driving is an Austin-Healey 3000 Mk I

And the one which is lent to Paul is indeed a first-generation 'Vette, probably a 1958 model.

Thanks...I had to look up what first generation Vette meant. I think it might be a l960 have a look. It is a beautiful vehicle for sure.

Overall it was a pretty lame movie. I grew up in San Juan during this time frame, my Dad managed one of the major hotels there. To the film makers credit they did a great job as the scenes were very credible, then again San Juan is a timeless place. I remember when The San Juan Star came to the island as the English newspaper; prior to that it was Tony Beacon's San Juan Diary. It was a great time and place, alcohol flowed freely and the tourist gals were always obliging.
