Is this Martin Lawrence's first PG rating movie?

He's usually in PG-13 and R rated movies.

Big Momma's House

reply

Big Momma's House was PG-13.

I think this is his first PG rated movie, but not his first family movie. Black Knight was kind of considered to be a family movie even though of the PG-13 rating.

reply

Well it was rated PG in Canada. As as you can see, the person who said "Big Momma's House" is from or in Canada.

Rating are

U - which is Universal, as in evryone, including ickle babies can see it..

PG - Parental Guidance

12A - Anyone under 12 has to be with an adult...lately filmslike Batman: Begins, T3 and Star Wars are in this.

15 - You gotta be 15

18 - You gotta be 18.

Thats it.

Whats Americas? I've never understood it. Like NC-17? Is that if your under 17 you cant see it? What about R, whats that rating?

US ratings:

G - Everyone
PG - Parental guidance suggested
PG13 - Not allowed in under 13 without adult
R - Not allowed in under 17 without adult
NC17 - Not allowed in under 17 at all

reply

Actually you can get to pg13 movies without an adult.

reply

Yeah, PG-13 and 12A are different. People under 12 can't see 12A rated movies without adult, but PG-13 rated movies they can. PG-13 is just stronger version of PG.

reply

It's also PG in Canada.

reply

Canadian Ratings:

General Audience:everyone
PG:Parental Guidence
14-A:No one under 14 (most US "Rs" get this, but sometimes the PG-13 does, such as Matchstick Men, The Rundown, My Baby's Daddy, etc.)
18-A:No one under 18. Which means it must be pretty bad! Recent movies to get this are Thirteen, Sideways, Sin City, etc.

Wow. Canada' rating system sucks. No one under 14 can see The Rundown? Wow. In Amerikuh anyone can see PG13, and the only time you cant see it without someone over 17 is when its R.
This movie/TV show/game sucks.

reply

[deleted]

So you mean now no one under 18 can see R Rated movies?

This movie/TV show/game sucks.

reply

In America, people of all ages can get into G, PG, and PG-13 movies. If you are under the age of 17, than you have to be with a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to see an R-Rated movie and you are not admitted at all to an NC-17.

reply

I think so, but i haven't looked or can even think of if he had a PG movie before this movie, and a few years later and he was in College Road Trip and that got a G rating, but he or the studios have nothing to do what the movies gets rated, they are rated by the MPAA.
