Racing Stripes...more like Hacing Bripes HAHA! YES! BURN!

Hmmm, to be fair I haven't seen this, what I'm sure is a, quality film so I'll just have to analyze the taglines...

1. "His stripes made him an outcast. His heart made him a hero."
That's great. Really, it is. Quite affecting. Here we have an animal that despite being looked down upon (for those damn stripes) still has the drive and ambition to do his own thing. Wow, I'm awed, truly. Come on people, even though he's an OUTCAST, he's still a HERO. Doesn't this movie really inspire us all to become better human beings? I say, this Zebra may just be the most inspirational figure in moviedom. Schindler who? Why was he so great? He didn't even have stripes to overcome! This movie is so great I'm even going to overlook the typo in this tagline-the rap community informs me it is indeed spelled OutKast. Us silly whites, when will we learn?

2. "Cheer 'til you're horse!"
I WILL! I WILL CHEER TIL I'M HORSE! HOW COULD I NOT? This movie is just so damn inspirational. If a zebra with Frankie Muniz' voice can overcome such hardships, who am I to worry about such mundane problems such as how I'm going to pay the rent this month? It's just so amaz...wait, wait, a minute, cheer til you're horse! HORSE! HAHA! I GET IT! HORSE LIKE THE ANIMAL, NOT HOARSE!! THEY SOUND THE SAME BUT ARE DIFFERENT! HA! THOSE SNEAKY CLEVER HOLLYWOOD GUYS! I LOVE 'EM!

3. "Kiss my tail!"
Oooo, such sting and sass. You don't like this little zebra's stuff, tough, kiss it's tail! Yeah, that's right baby! Did you see that exclamation point after tail? Did you? Well I don't think you did, cause if you did you would know not to mess with this animal. Such attitude, kids love attitude, hell, the world loves attitude, that's why this line is so great, it'll play all over the world. Racing Stripes will be the number one movie of the year in the Sudan, I can see it, they don't have anything going on over there, why not go see Racing Stripes! It's such a good line it almost makes you forget how many horses become glue.

Best post ever.

Thank you for that. I hate this movie. They should have used a unicorn, dammit.

The movie was made for five year olds. Therefore, only a five year old should really bother reviewing it.

The fact that a supposedly grown person like you even paid enough attention to this movie to have an opinion about it ought to have been embarrasing enough for you. But apparently it was not. Thank you posting here to let us all know just about where you are, developmentally speaking. Now we can all factor that into the equation whenever we should come across any of your other marvelous opinions here.

i second that best post ever nomination.

Okay, folks, this is a CHILDREN's movie. That's all.

Children's fare has to be innocence and inoffensive, because - now try and follow me - IT IS FOR CHILDREN. Believe it or not the entire world does not revolve around you.

Maybe you would prefer a family comedy about heroin withdrawl, or terrorism.

If you want to rip a movie that deserves it, check this tripe out:

Way to try to ruin everybody's fun, Daily Records.

reply

Yeah, DailyRecords, you are a dick.

reply

DailyRecords is like the guy who, when you're joking around with your friends and having a good time, walks over and says his mom died of colon cancer or feline AIDS is on the rise. Way to be a Debbie Downer, DailyRecords.

reply

DailyRecords is like the guy who, when someone like you is torturing some little child with your friends, walks over and says "You are torturing a CHILD, for God's sake." You are like the guy who gets his rocks off molesting the child.

reply

I think DailyRecords is like the guy who, when someone like jqdoe is torturing some little child with his friends, records it on a camcorder and posts it on YouTube.

Pretty pointless to rag on a children's movie don't you think??

reply

Pretty pointless to come on the internet and tell us that, don't you think?

reply

Racing Stripes is fine for kids, but I think it's a pretty dumb movie, and I think it's perfectably understandable to treat it as such.

reply

racing stripes is perfectly acceptable to make fun of, because its crap. kids movie or not...its crap, and no amount of debbie downers will change that

I love this job more than I love taffy, and I'm a man who loves his taffy.

reply

Why do people say it's pointless to rag on a childrens movie? I dont get it. The Incredibles was a childrens movie and it KICKED ASS. This movie has no excuse.

reply

If the Incredibles was a childrens movie (as you claim), and you found it so much right up your alley that you think it KICKED ASS (as you claim) . . .

well, then, logically, we can only make one conclusion about who you are.

Does you Mommy know what you are doing on the Internet?

reply

You're right. Logically, we can only make one conclusion about who he is. He's George Thompson, 38, lives in New York City, drives a Toyota, and works in a bakery. Or is my logic flawed?

THIS POST IS AWESOME.

So check it out. It was a kids movie, but not even a good one. I totally reviewed it on the site below, and honestly, I was expecting it to be bad, but right before it started I go, "ok it's a kids movie, review it as such". Anyway, I think I did that, but still hated it and ended up ranting for 3 pages about how it sucked. It's actually my favorite review i've ever written and if you hated the movie in a way that you enjoy talking about how bad it is you should check it out.
