Worst Coming Out Movie EVER

This movie was so bad. Me and some of my girlfriends decided to have a night of lesbian movie watching. There are only so many gay flicks we've pretty much seen them all.

This movie was completly unnatural. Everything about it.

we were thinking we could make a drinking game for this move tho. Every time you hear a bad analogy or gay steroetype.. take a drink.

DONT waste your time. go watch ANY OTHER lesbian movie.

Personally, I think "Desert Hearts" is one of the most sensual films of that genre ever made and I strongly recommend it. It is set in early 1950's Reno, Nevada and features an excellent cast. THE BEST.

If you like British films set in Victorian London (1890's), "Tipping the Velvet" is quite saucy and features the beautiful Rachael Stirling, daughter of Diana Rigg.
I enjoyed it greatly.

If you prefer drama/comedy in a modern setting, you could try "Chasing Amy". The only problem is that you will have to endure Ben Affleck, but Jason Lee and the magnetic Joey Lauren Adams are quite cute. Beware, the language is a bit naughty.

But definitely try "Desert Hearts" first...and if you disgree feel free to respond and call me nasty names or whatever.

i would recommend 'imagine me and you' thats a sweet rom com and it doesn't focus on coming out just love. also 'loving annabelle', 'fingersmith' and 'but im a cheerleader' - the film may not be the best but clea duvall = gooorgeous lol

"You make me feel something i absolutely cannot feel."

I personally loved this movie. I'm bi-curious if anything (as of now) and well I was really going into this movie thinking "romantic comedy" and i was right. i'm surprised about all the negative comments. It was good for what it was. I thought it was funny and refreshing. Also, it coming from a "femme" POV was nice.

Totally agree. This movie is AWFUL.

I saw this movie when I was 16. I was (and still am) quite confused re my sexuality. Although I am pretty sure I like the ladies. Anyway, I'm not out.

I saw this movie and I actually really loved it. There were a lot of moments in it that described exactly how I was feeling then and how I felt about my different experiences that were kind of similar as Gray's (in the movie). I especially connected with what she said in the elevator with her brother. I got really emotional cause someone else put into words what I couldn't.

Every word she uttered are exactly what I feel.. even til now actually.

I know this movie was supposed to be a comedy but it became so much more than that to me. To find something that helped me understand/express my feelings is such a special find. It's not the best movie ever but it certainly isn't the worse for me.

This movie has some witty dialogs, very original subject (think of it, how many movies portray a healthy brother-sister relation). Actors are good, and Heather Graham gives brilliant performance.
This movie is above average, especialy considering the genre.

I enjoyed Gray Matters a lot than I expecting. It's refreshing to watch a movie that deals with coming out and friends or family though some are not-very accepting and well ,open-minded. It's not really awful but I can't say the best either. Just great and fun.
