First they present the "problem" in the story making that attraction between Gray and Charlie. Afterwards, CHARLIE initiates the kiss altough she`s straight (YEAH, RIGHT), after which she stays with Sam, her fiancee.
THIS DOESN`T SOUND BELIEVABLE AT ALL!
Which woman would initiate a kiss with another woman even if she`s drunk? Or maybe she`s gay only drunk?
Stupid movie, charlie is coming out after the end of the movie.
shareI really don't understand why people view that as a problem with the film. What exactly is unbelievable about it? I really don't get it. I've seen a number of same sex kisses between drunk people. And yes the people in question were/are indeed straight. It just happens. Drunk people as whole tend to be affectionate (mean drunks aside). And when you get two drunk affectionate people together there's always a chance a kiss is going to take place, whether its a peck on the cheek or a full blown makeout session. It doesn't necessarily mean they're attracted to each other or gay. I don't see any problem whatsoever with what happened in the movie.

I have a friend at my work that is a big partier and she tells stories that people have said she did, and sometimes they involve getting overly friendly with other girls. She is very straight, so the main thing that you pointed out is not unbelievable at all. Charlie was completely bombed and didn't even remember it after so I don't think it's much of a stretch

Human sexuality is much more fluid than most would admit. Especially after alcohol or pot. But alcohol fit, as she didn't remember the moment. Pot is much gentler, on the brain cells. (except when trying to keep up with the conversation, which is why a stopped, decades ago)
