After Phillipe's character burned his vehicle

after mistakenly shooting the young black man -

aren't they going to eventually find out he killed the guy?

It was his car

The bullet in the guy came from Phillipe's gun

Was it not his police gun but his private gun? Will he get rid of it, claim his car was stolen?

Can't they use cameras around town to see who was driving that vehicle and see it was him?

What was he thinking?

Thanks

reply

he wasnt thinking, thats the point of that scene, to show that cops arent trained to "Think", they are trained to asses and neutralize possible threats, which becomes as easy as breathing, except that many cops cannot turn off that mechanism after a certain event or period of time.
so in an instant a person is dead that most likely doesnt deserve to die.

Unpess he shot anyone before, his bullets wouldn't be on file.

Cars get stolen and burned all the time because people are douches. Plus hes a cop.

Very few cameras in the area. It was just a stolen car. Not a murder investigation. No one woild request all this footage.

Solid cover up.

It happens all the time in America- as we have seen in the news. Same outcome for the officers - not punished

There was nothing to connect the dead body to the car
