I wish they left out...

...the part where Michelle explains about her "new feelings" about her teacher and when she asks him to kiss her. I mean... I understand she was a grown woman and was developing needs of a normal human being. Also she was afraid that she'd never experience the love of a man and she just wanted to know how it was. (Did I actually interpret those scenes right? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.) But it really gave me the creeps. It slightly ruined the film for me. I believe I would have appreciated it more and cried a few more tears if they left it at a more like father-daughter relationship. 8/10 still though.

I guess it's hard to not fall in love/be curious about love when you've put your trust in someone who has invested so much into them... but yes, I thought it was a bit creepy myself and that was one thing that put me off temporarily (but briefly).

I love the movie but something that I wished was kept to a minimal was the background music score. Even though it was nice, I think it was too much sometimes. If they kept many of the dialogue scenes without some of the dramatic (if not repetitive) music score, I'm sure it would have intensified some of the dramatic effect. Somehow background music seems to make things sometimes melodramatic. That's just a personal opinion anyway and that's from watching it over and over and over...
