Hi Yank Disk

The date on the recording is written 5/18/44, 18 days before D-Day was originally scheduled. In the recording describing the musical, the narrator says it is meant to entertain soldiers from "Burma to Normandy". I seriously doubt that they would allow the location for Overlord to be given to, or much less recorded to a disk advertising an USO musical. I wonder what that date really means?
