Is it just my imagination, but i thought it was pretty clear at the end that the girls were in another school, this time with boys. Even though the boys were blurs, they seemed to be all in white, like the girls uniform, and the other people looked like young people in those block colour clothes, like the girls hair ribbons...

I kind of interpreted it as that the boys were from all boys schools, and that this was the meeting place for the two schools so the boys and girls could partner up, essentially.
