One of the creepiest movies I've ever seen
The excellent directing by Geoffrey Sax managed to make this quite a chilling movie! There are movies where I go "Whoa" a few times, but not as many movies make me so uneasy all throughout.
There is some criticism of the first half of the movie being much like a serious drama while the second half is more straight-up horror. Personally, I think that makes it even more effective! It slowly builds up and provides some character development, make you care about the people you are following. Then suddenly, everything goes horribly wrong!
The finale was pretty rushed and I thought the way they killed off Keaton's character was messy and awful, but apart from that, this is a really good movie. It deserves a nicer rating than 5.5.
