I just loved this movie, watching it in our Norwegianclass in high school. I don't understand that it hasn't been rewarded. Ireland, fantastic actors, a great plot, romance and tragedy. Is there a better way to spend a boring evening?
shareI thought it was over-rated. I think it could have been really good, but JF's wooden performance ruined it. Through half the film, he just stared blankly ahead, and I guess we were supposed to conclude that he was feeling tortured, but it would have been much more compelling and dramatic if he had managed to look tortured. I love almost anything based on any piece of the Arthurian legends, but this bored me.
shareUmm, weren't they trying to cover up their love so wouldn't it make sense that whatever torture he was feeling inside would have been covered up by Tristan so in actuality Franco's performance was spot on?
